About
Jill Fairbairns experiments in colour, composition, scale and abstraction through the use of paint, pen and ink, with this used in combination in some circumstances. She likes to find and replicate patterns, keeping things in a simple form, using clear, clean colour.
She won the Conte´ Pastel Award in The British Painters Exhibition in 1992. She has exhibited in a number of places, including with the Rye Tuesday Painters and her work is included in private collections.
