Prague's DSC Gallery presents the solo exhibition of contemporary Czech artist Jiří Černický. The exhibition presents Černický’s latest thematic series of paintings called Dolby painting, subtitled ‘Between modernism and post conceptualism’.
About
Jiří Černický uses a variety of media for his work. He creates spatial installations, events, happenings, objects, paintings, photographs and video.
Černický works with an idea which he then transforms into different meanings, leaving the interpretation to the viewer. In each of his works is hidden a powerful story, full of tense gestures involving societal issues.
