About
Jetpacks invites the viewer into her world and personal creative process, through her own philosophy, political theory, cultural observations, via fast paced video and layered imagery. The Hand that Dealt draws on performative archetypes from Jetpacks' wider practise exploring themes of ‘lad culture’, feminism, film and rave music while using satire and absurdity within technological and digital experimental approaches to deliver work that is both complex and accessible.

Union Gallery is also pleased to present Damon Packard's latest film Fatal Pulse (2018), which will be exhibited in our Showroom Gallery.
Packard's four-year in the making phantasmagorical Yuppie Fear Thriller epic follows the exploits of husband/wife moguls trapped with a deadbeat couch potato brother in a hallucinogenic 1-900 world of 1991. Everyone is plotting the kill everyone else including themselves and ultimately do. Inspired by the corporate take-over era of the late 80s/early 90s and all the dark, atmospheric, neo-noir thrillers that came along with it. Beyond anything you have ever seen.
