Jenny Eden - collages

About

Using paint, collage and other materials, I create layered mixed media pieces that combine a leaning towards a vintage aesthetic with a contemporary and animated style of collage and painting. Inspired by current trends in terms of pattern and colour, along with an interest in exploring expressive painting techniques, I enjoy making visual connections between the different elements of the piece. In creating these layered and ‘full' pieces, I want to invite the viewer to take a wander through and around the work, pausing in certain places along the way to explore more specific areas and textures.
