Jealous are thrilled to announce our upcoming exhibition 'Jealous Re-Hang', a group exhibition at our Crouch End Gallery space, running from 31st January until 25th February 2018.

About

This February, Jealous will be showcasing some our most infamous and popular editions produced over the last ten years. Running from the 31st January the ‘Jealous Re-Hang’ group show is exclusive to Jealous North and features a tightly curated selection of screenprints from an array of some of the most popular artists to walk through Jealous’ Studio doors .

We’ve brought together a selection of most-loved works from artists including Sara Pope, Sarah Fotheringham, Angie Lewin, Jessica Albarn, Mark Denton, Rowan Newton, Magnus Gjoen, Amanda Marie, David Shrigley, Jealous Inc and more. The exhibition will also act as a launch for a very special neon edition, upcycled neon hearts with Jealous’ most notorious catch-phrase emblazoned across the middle. The perfect anecdote for valentines is sure to set hearts a flutter. Available in red, purple and pink neon, the edition of 12 will be exclusive to Jealous North.

Jealous is a Contemporary Screenprint Studio, Gallery and Publisher based in Crouch End and East London’s creative hub of Shoreditch. Established in 2008, we are known for our collaborative approach to producing high quality limited edition prints with many illustrators, graduates and established artists. Our editions can be seen at many of the art fairs we attend including The London Original Print Fair (LOPF) at The Royal Academy, The London Art Fair, Moniker and the AAF internationally.

Our diverse educational programme includes working with primary schools on site specific art projects whilst the Jealous Prize invites MA’s from London’s art colleges to make an all expenses paid edition with Jealous. These editions are then shown at the many art fairs we attend and form part of the V&A’s permanent print collection.

Jealous also runs an ongoing project called Jealous Needs You, where, from open submission, we publish editions with many illustrators, designers and emerging artists. Working with many primary schools running screenprint workshops and exhibitions, Jealous likes to maintain a full and inclusive educational programme .

Our work can be found in many galleries and institutions including Tate Modern, Eyestorm, Saatchi Gallery, Scream Editions, The Imperial War Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The British Museum, and internationally with Signed and Numbered in Melbourne, Less is More Projects in Paris, Carmichael Gallery in LA, Culture Gallery in Cape Town and Taglialatella Fine Art in New York as well as the recently completed Conran Hotel South Place in London, Ming Hotel in Berlin, Soho House and The Groucho.

Our client work includes White Cube, ICA, The Fine Art Society, Pentagram, Why Not Associates, Graphic Thought Facility, The British Film Institute and the Victoria & Albert Museum, to name but a few. Our recent projects include publishing Charming Baker’s new editions with Paul Stolper Gallery to coincide with his S2 Sotheby’s Mayfair solo show. We have worked with street artist Ben Eine and The Big Issue, designing three collectable covers to celebrate their 200 millionth copy and created editions for their commemorative issue whilst hosting a televised event in our Shoreditch space with founder Lord John Bird. We have worked with Gemma Peppé, the force behind Art on A Postcard, a project raising desperately needed funds for The Hepatitis C Trust, publishing charity editions and as a result, presented 'The Best Of Art on a Postcard 2016' show in our Shoreditich space with David Shrigley, Gavin Turk, Ray Richardson, The Connor Brothers, amongst many others.

We also provide a number of other consultancy services, including project management, installation and logistics, artwork sourcing, live printing and pop-up exhibition management.
