Jaywick Commemorative Textile Exhibition

In February 2010 a group of local people got together with Textile artist Vanessa Rolf and started work on the JMT200 Commemorative Textile Project. The project began by inviting people to contribute their photographs, postcards, historical facts and personal stories about Jaywick to the research. Using the research and personal memories six textile panels were designed and created by the group. The finished pieces can be seen at Jaywick Martello Tower before embarking on a tour.
