An exhibition of affordable works on paper that let the human figure speak for itself
Artist Jasper Judd will be holding a solo exhibition of affordable works on paper.
The works, depicting the human figure – in watercolour, line and wash, charcoal, pencil and giclee print – range in price from £250 to £1,500.
“How we react to the human figure is deeply instinctive,” says Jasper. “As humans, we have evolved a sensitivity to subtleties in the human form and face which is very demanding. This is what makes depicting people such a rich challenge.”
Variously described as “beautifully drawn”, “great sense of line”, “wonderful use of colour”, Jasper’s work has been exhibited at the Royal College of Art and the Mall Galleries and is held in private collections in the UK and overseas.
Jasper has an MA in History of Art from Cambridge University and trained at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, Australia.
Half the sale proceeds of the exhibition will be divided between three charities: Kids Company, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Haven
