About
Perhaps best known as an award-winning jeweller and goldsmith, Annabel Eley is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company, and lives and works in Cambridgeshire and London. Her paintings often evolve from the landscape, exploring structures, patterns, and grids within it. Painted mainly in oils over a base of collage and acrylic, they display an enjoyment of texture, and the fruitful interplay between her practice as a designer and painter.
Jasper Galloway lives and works in Buckinghamshire. Born in London, he trained at Wimbledon College of Arts and New York University - The Tisch School of the Arts. A natural colourist, he is co-founder of Konig Colours, a diverse range of non-toxic, water-based paints. The experience of testing and creating this collection inspired him to return to painting, exploring colours and shapes that sing against the canvas, with an intensity worthy of the great Pop artists that he admires.
