Photographer and designer Jasmine Malone welcomes you into her world of analogue photography, nude beaches and intimate moments, questioning the narrative that the male gaze has created of the female nude.

About

Distance, her first solo exhibition, explores nudity and nakedness, and focusses on representations of the female body in modern photography. Most, if not all, of us take on a state of undress at least once on any given day, but what does it mean to be naked? What does nakedness imply within various contexts, and can one say it is the same as being nude? Or is nudity a completely different state of being?
