Sunstar, a company with Japanese origins, will present the first Japanese
calligraphy art exhibition hosted by Nihon Shodo Bijutsuin (Japan
Calligraphy Art Academy), one of Japan's oldest calligraphy art institutes,
alongside other art and culture events in October in Singapore.

Sunstar, a company with Japanese origins, will present the first Japanese
calligraphy art exhibition hosted by Nihon Shodo Bijutsuin (Japan
Calligraphy Art Academy), one of Japan's oldest calligraphy art institutes,
alongside other art and culture events in October in Singapore. 

The exhibition will display about 60 pieces of curated masterpieces by calligraphers of Nihon Shodo Bijutsuin, across four categories: 
1.            Sino-Japanese ideograms (“kanji”)
2.            Japanese syllabary (“kana”)
3.            New calligraphic art
4.            Seal carving

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to watch calligraphy performances by calligraphy masters taking place daily at The Luxe Art Museum from 2pm – 3pm from 20 – 24 October. Visitors will also receive an exclusive calligraphy art gift and a lovely Sunstar goodie bag while stocks last.
Admission to the exhibition and performances are free for the public.

Take part in a series of Japanese craft and cultural activities on Japan Cultural Workshop Day on the 21st of October, Saturday at these four different venues:

1.            The Japanese Association, Singapore (JAS) – 10am

2.            Japan Creative Centre (JCC) – 10am

3.            Choa Chu Kang Community Club (CC) – Afternoon to Evening

4.            Our Tampines Hub (OTH) – Afternoon
