About

Jan Żyrek, a pupil of Stanisław Mazuś, lives and works in Koniakow in the mountainous region of Beskid Śląski, which is the source of his artistic inspiration. He specialises in canvas painting, mostly landscapes, portraits and nudes, sculpture and design.

Ernest Zawada also comes from Koniaków in the Beskid Śląski region in southern Poland. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating with distinction under the patronage of prof. Stefan Gierowski in 1995. He took part in over 70 individual exhibitions, as well as group projects and open air shows, both in Poland and abroad. He currently holds a senior teaching post at the Bielsko-Biala Academy of Technology and Arts.
