About54 The Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of recent paintings by the British contemporary artist James Cooper.
Over the last twenty years Cooper's painting processes have continued to evolve and mature. His sources of inspiration remain both diverse and eclectic. Collectively the works featured in this current exhibition are all united by their intelligent and compassionate depiction of people and places. They offer an unflinching representation of everyday life through the visceral properties of paint. Working from life, photography and from imagination Cooper's work is ever evolving, maturing and inviting.
The exhibition will be open daily between 11.30am 8.30pm from Monday 3rd March Saturday 8th March 2014 and will be James Cooper's sixth solo exhibition, showing small and medium size works.
