An exhibition highlighting the beauty of the humble sign — from hastily scrawled arrows to nationwide motorway signage systems.
Need to get something across quickly and clearly? Then you’ll want a sign.
From hastily scrawled arrows to nationwide motorway signage systems — the world of wayfinding is a rich and varied one. But too often, we only notice them when they don’t work.
This exciting exhibition points the way to the beauty of the humble sign — bringing together the favourite signs from an open call to designers and architects across the land. Expect brilliant uplifting surprising pieces of everyday design and the stories behind them.
Proceeds from the exhibition catalogue of the wonderful signs going to our local charity Manna Society, helping the homeless of Southwark.
