Course outline for the day

Morning activity

Afternoon activity

  • Blocking in: The underpainting is the foundation of a painting. The tutor will cover how to lay out your pallet to maximise efficiency and easiness
  • First Pass: Start refining areas in more detail
  • Final Pass Finishing: the tutor will guide you on the finishing process, and provide recommendations for future workings and varnishing

After you book a place you will be emailed the full workshop outline which includes the material list and a list of the materials provided by the workshop.

To book a place, either visit the RBSA Gallery website or call us directly on 0121 236 4353.
