Introduction to Hardback Adhesive Bookbinding

Building upon skills learned in part one of the course, this day will include hard back versions of a variety of bindings. You will learn tricks of the trade to neatly cover boards, achieving a professional finish. Participants are invited to bring along papers to use on their book covers- which should be between 80gsm and 200gsm and no smaller than A4 in size, alternatively some basic cover papers will be provided. It is not necessary to have attended part 1 of the course, however together the classes offer a broader understanding of the similarities and differences between these methods of bookbinding.
