Learn all the techniques you need to make your own simple notebook in this workshop with book artist Kate Rochester of Hanbury Press.

About

In this workshop, you will learn to make an artisanal notebook from scratch. You will learn how to make a single section quarter bound cloth notebook, the perfect keepsake for storing your own thoughts or for gifting to the writer in your life. You'll get to choose your own cloths to use out of a wide selection and you'll be introduced to specialist book binding tools as well as basic book-binding techniques. You will get to take home your very own personalised cloth-covered notebook, and because the skills you'll learn can be applied with minimal equipment, so you can continue making beautiful notebooks from the comfort of your own home.

The skills you learn can be applied with minimal equipment so you can make them at home.

Kate Rochester is the founder of Hanbury Press, a small independent press based in East London.
