For each INTOTO event, Thomas Fougeirol, Julien Carreyn and Pepo Salazar methodically search through artists’ studios, looking for objects to find: tests, fragmentary products of studio practice, domestic residues … There, they discover evidence of primitive practices, below the level of manufactured completion.

This collection is hung in a linear mode, without frame or etiquette – like the unrolling menu of the tumblr INTOTO which documents the project. The inventory offers to the “flaneur” the possibility to acquire one or another of these pieces.

For the edition of INTOTO 7 in Berlin at the Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Renaud Regnery joins Thomas Fougeirol and Julien Carreyn in researching and co-curating the exhibition.

Für jede INTOTO-Ausstellung erkunden Thomas Fougeirol, Julien Carreyn und Pepo Salazar methodisch unzählige Künstlerateliers um Objekte zu finden, die zu diesem Projekt passen: Tests, fragmentarische Produkte aus der jeweiligen Studiopraxis, Haushaltsreste … In ihnen entdecken sie Anzeichen primitiver Praktiken, die unterhalb des Fertigstellungsgrades liegen.

Die so zusammengetragene Sammlung wird in linear, ohne Rahmen oder Etikett, aufgehängt – wie das Abrollmenü von tumblr INTOTO, das das Projekt dokumentiert. Dem „Flaneur“ bietet sich die Möglichkeit, das eine oder andere dieser Stücke aus dem Inventar zu erwerben.

Für die Ausgab #7 von INTOTO in Berlin im Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz begleitet Renaud Regnery die Ausstellung zusammen mit Thomas Fougeirol und Julien Carreyn.
