About
Linda is inspired by the fragile beauty of landscape ranging from the wide vistas across the moors towards the mountains to a secret, hidden pool. Through a variety of media, she explores field patterns, light reflected on water or a lone tree.
Etching and aquatint provide painterly textural marks. Each metal plate is inked differently to create unique prints. Vibrant soft pastels produce strong, colourful effects. While eco prints capture delicate leaves and flowers.
Linda enjoys working en plein air battling the elements to bring her studies and sensory experiences back to the studio to create a range of artwork.
