a collaborative exhibition from three artists working and living in Dartmoor, Exmoor and in between
About
"Into the Landsacpe" brings together three working fine art artists all living in Devon. Living in the countryside allows them to work directly with their natural surroundings and this in turn strongly influences their artworks. This is their first collaborative exhibition and although each artist has a unique and different response, they are united in their deep affection for the Devon landscape.
Danny Holmes-Adams paints his wonderful landscapes from deep into remote locations on Dartmoor, sometimes they are portraits of a favourite scene or an invitation to explore the moors from his artistic viewpoint. Luna North brings a joy and lightness to her printmaking, capturing the essence of her beloved Exmoor with beautifully rendered prints of the local fauna and foliage. Helena Lewis's imagery of botanical subjects at first glance, appear to be a record of a walk yet closer inspection reveals other images hidden which Helena allows the viewer to glimpse for themselves.
