About
Flags act as symbols of what people stand for. They are memorable icons which can highlight a place, a person, a story. This collaborative workshop invites designers, illustrators and artists to observe, question and create a new flag.
This workshop is a continuation of Alliances (http://alliancesproject.tumblr.com/) a collaborative project which invited ten designers, illustrators and artists to work with Konstantinos Trichas.
Each collaboration led to a flag representing various subjects. All themes came from personal discussions, yet they covered broader concerns in society, such as relationships, culture, heritage, language and identity
This event is part of the Camberwell Space Projects exhibition Into The Fold which runs from 1 March - 15 April 2016.
This event is free and open to all.
