The Catalan artist explores masculine beauty with a renewed look, creating a new language in each line with an expressionist stylization of the bodies and portraying masculine intimacy in all its aspects: friendship, platonic love, sports, sex, kisses, tenderness... After graduating in Art History, he came to illustration where he found his true vocation and passion. As a plastic artist, he exhibited in Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, and New York. His work as an illustrator focuses on the illustrated album of which he is sometimes also the author of the text, having published numerous books. Winner of prizes such as the Junceda for best youth illustration, Manuel António da Mota (Portugal), the jury prize of the Hiiibrand competition in China, the one awarded by the Cuatro Gats  Foundation, and finally, the second prize of the international drawing contest of Zabrze, Poland. “Although my first exhibition already dealt with the subject of kisses between men – Dani Torrent tells us – little by little my work had been moving towards illustration for children or youth. It was during the confinement when for the first time in a long time he was without urgent orders. And at that moment what he missed, like many people, was human contact. That was how I went back to the origins.”
