Art/Nature: Artistic Interventions at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin

About

Kunst/Natur. Introducing a Model Project by the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and the German Federal Cultural Foundation.

What happens when contemporary art encounters natural history collections and research? “Art/Nature: Artistic Interventions at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin” is a model project inviting visual artists, sound artists, and writers to produce new works in a creative exploration of the museum. The first intervention round exhibits works by A K Dolven (echo echo), Saâdane Afif (The End of the World), Sabine Scho and Andreas Töpfer (The Origin of Senses), which have been developed according to curatorial concepts by Gaby Hartel, Juan Gaitán, and Cord Riechelmann.
