(Andrew Curtis & Niall Monro)
with Special Guest Bruce McLean, invite everyone to join us for their thirteenth Field Trip: FT13 - Harlow to Harlow.
Meet at Harlow Town Station on Sunday 16 July at 12 Noon
Harlow is of interest to International Lawns as it is the site of the UK's first high-rise social housing building 'The Lawn' built in the 1950s. During the 1950s and also in Public ownership, the Harlow Art Trust began collecting sculpture. By the end of 2010, Harlow became the world’s first 'Sculpture Town' ... and let's not forget Malibu - between 1962 and 2000, Harlow was also where Gilbey's Distillery once produced all the Malibu in the world.
