About

featuring works from the Horsecross collection of contemporary media art by: Alisa Andrasek Olle Essvik Joanna Kane Catherine-Anne Lee Greg Miller Tom Moody Takeshi Murata Prema Murthy Graham Robertson Janek Schaefer Sam Spreckley In his unassumingly brilliant film Dial M for Murder (1954), Alfred Hitchcock uses the trope of the intermission as a suspense device intensifying the thrill of the perfect murder drama. In this exhibition contemporary artists with diverse attitude to the cinematic, approach the intermission as an opportunity to dwell upon our perceptions of abstract art almost built into the urban architecture around us.
