HK Creative Studio: DANOK Inc. is happily announcing a group exhibition of 33 Korean-based emerging artists: Youju Kang, 구도원, Roeun Kwon, Yeo Jin Kwon, Do Wi Kim, Minu Kim, So Hyang Kim, Younhee Kim, Eun Gyeong (Anais) Kim, SaDoSeJa, Yoo Jeong Seol, 안진경, Katheryn Oh, Woopo, Ji Yeon Yoo, 이수진, Eun Sol Lee, Jieun Lee, Hyoji Lee, Yoon Sun Chung, 정은정, 정혜성, 조성철, Hwi Yeon Jo, 지희구, 최예지, 한지민, HEMYU, 홍련, 홍선미, Che Sang Hwang, Ratty, and H.RED.

All of the artists are focused on the theme “interaction.” Each artist is showing their personal translation of “interaction” in their artworks and inviting the viewers to join their inner psychological worlds. 

Seeing art is an invitation to a small universe built by the artist’s memories, experiences, and thoughts. The artist’s transcendence universe is not formed with the audience’s knowledge or ideas that the audience originally had. However, it is formed with the audience’s new experiences that are expanded and changed when they see the artist’s artworks. Artworks are open toward the audience, and the audience is open toward the artworks. This is how the interaction between an artist and an audience works. HK Creative Studio: DANOK hopes that all audiences can truly experience aesthetic art communication and empathy through the artworks in this exhibition, “Interaction.”

HK Creative Studio: DANOK Director Kang said, "Even in the face of a slump in cultural and artistic activities due to the pandemic, the world's interest in Korean culture and arts is increasing. In the future, we will play a sincere role in Korean art's entry into the world through more diverse and fruitful exhibition planning.”
