INSTINC D:Art Festival 2022 showcases the best digital artists in the region with a collaborative physical and metaverse exhibition of the Top 3 and best of 20 digital artists by public voting and esteemed judges in the scene.
About
Supported by stART Fund and United Overseas Bank (UOB), INSTINC D:Art Festival 2022 aims to showcase the best and current digital artists in the region. With a collaborative physical and metaverse exhibition on spatial.io (in partnership with Serial Co) of the Top 3 artists and best of 20 shortlisted digital artists by public voting and esteemed judges in the scene, as well as programmes including the festival’s artists’ talk, panel discussion, and NFT workshop hosted by Singapore-based multidisciplinary artist Dom Ho.
Curated by Hilda Chan and Iven Cheung from MUSTHAVEKEYS (Hong Kong) and organised by INSTINC Space in Singapore, the festival has invited artists to submit up to three artworks in response to the theme “Ignite the Future” for the festival’s Open Call. We have narrowed the works down to our Top 3 and Best of 20 finalists. Moving forward, our Top 3 artists: Chan Wan Kyn (Singapore), Seohyo (Korea), and Wyn-Lyn Tan (Singapore), will be commencing their collaborative 1-month artists-in-residency at INSTINC SOHO in Singapore starting 1 September.
Join us at the exhibition as we present the Top 3 artists' final residency outcome, the Best of 20 and people's choice that emerged through our Public Voting Stage.
