About
Stanley Spencer was a master of the realist movement in modern Britain, as revealed in his masterpiece, The Garage, which is on display at Jerwood Gallery from 15 October 2016 – 8 January 2017.
This workshop takes a closer look at this painting and uses it as a springboard for creatively exploring differences in working situations today. For example, our use of digitally-operated machinery and sat navs would paint a very different picture of The Garage today. This is a 2D mixed-media workshop.
