Give your INPUT on OUTPUT gallery's programming for 2020

About

Do you make art, do you want an exhibition and do you want to get paid for it? Do you know somebody who does? Or, do you love art and want to help decide what’s on in OUTPUT gallery here in Liverpool City Centre?

OUTPUT gallery works exclusively with creatives from or based in Merseyside. We put on regular exhibitions as well as art socials and group crits and we’ve already got a programme that takes us to November 2019 but we’re wondering what we should do next year. We’re aiming to make our this gallery space as useful as possible for the local art scene and audiences and to do that, OUTPUT needs INPUT.

Over the course of four days, we will be inviting the public to drop in and advise on our future programming. Anybody is welcome to come along if they are interested in discussing who they would like to see exhibiting going forward, and more generally what the space should be used for. We’re interested in hearing your criticisms, and very open to hearing what you think we could be doing better. Feel free to throw your own name into the hat for a show too, it’s greta to meet as many local people as possible who are making art. Have a think as well about what type of programming you think is missing because maybe we could be the gallery who fills in the gaps.

INPUT dates are as follows:

Thursday 23 May 12-6pm

Friday 24 May 12-6pm

Saturday 25 May 12-6pm

Sunday 26 May 12-4pm

If you want to put yourself or anybody else forward, it would be helpful if you could bring a few images along as well as contact details so that we can take everything into consideration when planning 2020. If you are not able to attend any of the INPUT days or would prefer to connect with us over email, please get in touch on output@thekazimier.co.uk and let us know your thoughts.

We’re at 32 Seel St L1 4BE next to the Kazimier Gardens and behind Tesco on Hanover St. We share our space with a shop so enter there and you’ll see a sign for the gallery behind a big white wall.

The gallery is accessible via four steps, and we have a wheelchair ramp that can be requested by pressing the bell outside our front door. The bathrooms, which we share with the Kazimier Gardens next door, are not wheelchair accessible - our apologies. Premier Inn on Hanover St have agreed to allow OUTPUT visitors use of their accessible bathroom.
