SCIBase is a collaborative project involving artists associated with SCI, based in Merseyside, and BasementArtsProject Leeds.

PLEASE NOTE: This event will not take place at East Street Arts. Please see website for exact venue. At the core of this project are artists Wendy Williams (SCI) and Bruce Davies (BasementArtsProject) who are responsible for putting together the ad hoc groupings that constitute SCIBase exhibitions. SCIBase was created after a hugely successful collaborative project for the Liverpool Independents Biennial 2008 entitled North by Northwest. SCIBase is 17 artists brought together for the Stockholm Art Fair in February 2011. It is approx. 12 artists from Leeds, 1 from USA and 4 from the Northwest. This biennial show is for this group to show how work has developed since they originally showed together back in February. For more information please visit the East Street Arts website:
