Bristol, United Kingdom
How is the city changing? Where do we stand? Can we create a space for dialogue and conversation?
Using fabric, wood, cameras, a photocopier and each other’s skills, Young Arnolfini are creating a changing space. Histories will be woven with fictions and questions are asked about the ways we live and work together. Conversations will be held within the exhibition, bringing together voices from across Bristol.
Join us to build and rebuild. Listen in to rumours, whispers and the beginnings of change. Wear a part of shared cultures. Make new thoughts and tie them down. Catch a glimpse of a story and run away with it.
This exhibition, taking place in Gallery One, represents the first major presentation of Inhabit, a new project by Young Arnolfini, looking at how we can work together to discuss the past, present and future of our city.
Conversation Event: Sunday 31 July 12-3pm. Free
Collaborative, ambitious, experimental, individual, involved, driven: Young Arnolfini are a collective of artists aged 16 – 25 working, learning and living in Bristol.
