ING Fresh Eyes is a network of art competitions across the world, based on ING's global sponsorship of Formula 1. Now in its 2nd year the prize has been created to give artists around the world exclusive access into the world of Formula 1. The UK competition prize is to attend the British Grand Prix on the 5th and 6th July 2008, with a resident artist. The judges are: Sir Peter Blake, Flavio Briatore, ING Renault F1 Managing Director, Rachel Campbell Johnston, The Times Art Critic. There are five national competitions in five different countries. Fresh Eyes began in 2007, to mark ING's involvement in Formula 1. ING is one of the largest sponsors in Formula 1. The company is also a major corporate art collector. Working with artists across the world to interpret the unique spirit and passion of Formula 1, Fresh Eyes is a unique and exciting project that has already inspired some amazing artwork.
