Composition - the act of combining parts or elements to form a whole.
 
   My work is based around the idea of composition. Composition in a purely visual sense refers to where things are placed. In music it refers to when things are, what notes, how long for etc. Composition is the order of things, and through my work I attempt discover, represent and elaborate upon different ideas of composition ranging from; formal visual composition, musical composition, mathematical/ scientific formulae, to orders of process and progression, imagination and the metaphysical.
