No 20 is delighted to host evenings based on works by the internationally renowned composer Roberto David Rusconi.
About
‘Incanti (Enchantments)’ is an immersive AV and sound environment with music by the internationally renowned composer Roberto David Rusconi, visuals by video artist Tju-La-Net and performances in association with Almeida Participation, director Michael Bryher and writer Laura Turner.
The show pioneers the intertwining of digital sound, visual techniques, theatre and performance art, with a unique blend of physical storytelling and more traditional art making (canvas, objects and sound sculptures).
Roberto David Rusconi
Based in London, the award winning composer and sound-designer is a visionary producer of immersive music for dance theatre and art galleries. His work is a melting pot of cutting edge electronica, classical music and sound field recordings.
Tju-La-Net
As a painter, graphic and video maker based in North London, the multimedia artist shares her work between the continent and the UK. Her practice is informed by a redefinition of arte povera and a constant expansion of AV immersive media.
Almeida Participation
Almeida Participation runs a variety of programmes that explore highquality theatre with young people and introduces them to creative skills and new opportunities. It currently runs groups for young performers, critics and producers aged between 14 to 25.
This event follows the world premiere of 'String Quartet No 5 Algorithm in one movement' written by Rusconi for Minguet Quartet. Discounted joint tickets are available.
