The inaugural book of the graphic anthology 'Anima Mundi', exploring inter-species communication between humans, plants, fungi, and minerals. 'Anima Mundi' books and films are artefacts that draw viewers' attention to diverse and wonderful life within more than-human-world. 'In The Garden' is an ambitious project, celebrating prophetic plants and their historic and cultural significance many of which continue to be utilised as sacred medicines and sacraments. This forthcoming book and accompanying animation feature the work of 12 international artists and academics, each prescribed a plant to research and respond to. The resulting collection of visual essays reflect the level of respect each of the 12 plants potted amongst the book's pages deserve. Each leaf of the book is teaming with symbolism, allegory and absolute reverence.
