The main idea of creating this project was to draw attention to the values that today stand behind the art of jewellery. We asked ourselves what jewellery is for our recipient? We noticed that it “looks”, is “designer” or “branded” more often, but it ceased to carry meaning and value (maybe except for devotional items). We want to bring our audience closer to the narration of our work, understood through clear commentary, protest, negation, applause or question.
During the exhibition the viewers will evaluate all the work, but not in the traditional way ... We want to enable all participants to share their emotions with our work, which in our opinion is the most valuable asset. At the end of the exhibitions, we will announce the most emotional work.
This exhibition has so far travelled around few Polish cities (Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, Kazimierz Dolny) and now migrates deep into Europe. The first step will be done in London, and the next will be planned in other major European cities.
