About
We are open everyday 10 am - 6pm
- suddenly in the middle of the story of art, the climax of which lays in the unknown future. The introduction and the triggering event are nowhere to be seen. Now there comes a series of rising actions, which the character must confront.
The character is neither the viewer nor the artwork but Meaning itself, striving for emancipation from an invisible force. When the viewer encounters an artwork, Meaning is invoked.
In Medias Res is the setting for this narrative that is unfixed in time, unfolding around the viewer. The story covers a broad range of practices, exploring residue, margins, and duality. Representation is experimented with, sometimes through narrative which is lost only to be found later.
You are invited to come and experience this unique exhibition, which is showcasing emerging artists from all around the world, many of which have studied at Central Saint Martins, the Slade, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts.
The event is being hosted by Greatorex Street E1, and is easily accessible by tube and bus.
