Parallel is delighted to present W.M. Hunt In Conversation with Bruno Humberto, as part of this year's Photo London Event Programme.

Writer, collector of photography and curator W.M. Hunt will be discussing with Bruno Humberto's his award winning exhibition Acts of Disappearance, which explores the idea of the subjective landscape: an impermanent and transitory state that exists in the eye of the image maker only at the very moment it is seen.

Humberto worked with six artists: Morten Barker, Ida Nissen, Nuno Barroso, Joshua Phillips, Emanuel Cederqvist and Thomas Wynne; each of whom find the idea of observable and objective reality in landscape elusive. Their approach to landscape is to use it as a fictional narrative surface onto which individual sensitivities are projected.
