City Lit are delighted to welcome Antony Gormley to the British Museum to discuss his life and career with City Lit Principal Mark Malcomson CBE. As a renowned artist and sculptor Antony Gormley has made a huge contribution to the arts in the UK and beyond and is one of the UK's most celebrated sculptors with solo shows worldwide. The discussion will focus on his commitment to sculpture as a focus for social and individual change, the connection between art, creativity and mental health and the benefits of art education and lifelong learning. The discussion will be followed by a moderated Q&A.
