An exhibition presented by Peepshow Collective

About

Dreamspace gallery presents the greatly anticipated exhibition, IN BETWEEN, featuring new work from the Peepshow Collective on show between June 17th to July 15th 2009. In between their day-to-day studio activity, there are always thoughts, ideas, possibilities and fragments growing and developing after the work has been done. Peepshow has chosen to show these personal investigations, drawings, prints and objects at the dreamspace gallery, EC1, offering a secret insight into the personal minds of the Peepshow Collective. Their show is set to be fresh and exciting for those familiar with the groups' work; and an enticing introduction for those who aren't. Luke Best, Jenny Bowers, Miles Donovan,Chrissie Macdonald, Pete Mellor, Marie O'Connor, Andrew Rae, Elliot Thoburn, Lucy Vigrass and Spencer Wilson work from their studio base in East London. The creative collective has steadily built a reputation over the last 10 years for producing intelligent, unique and beautiful commercial work at a national and international level. Founded in 2000 by six University of Brighton Illustration graduates, Peepshow was set up as a way of promoting the individual members, while maintaining the relationships they built as students and ultimately making the experience of being an illustrator more fun. Power in numbers, as they say. And the numbers gradually grew to 10. Acknowledged among leading practitioners in their fields, they have set the tone for independent, autonomous design studios and successfully carved out their own path within an ever-expanding industry. IN BETWEEN will be showing at the dreamspace gallery, 1 3- Dufferin Street, London, EC1Y 8NA between June 17th and July 15th 2009, Monday to Friday, 9am — 5.30pm. Admission is free and some pieces will be for sale.
