Marc Gooderham continues to explore Hackney and the East End in his forthcoming exhibition Impressions Of The City.
About
Never straying too far from this part of town Marc presents a collection of original drawings and sketches taking a close look at some of his favourite subjects; shop fronts, street corners and his fascination with a forgotten London.
Working in dry media such as charcoal and pastel, the drawings capture a moment in time, yet convey sense of movement and urgency.
This show is somewhat of a homecoming for Marc. A Stokey resident for 15 years (now residing across the river in Brockley) he continues to document the part of London he loves the most.
