Illustrated London is a solo exhibition of prints by Nancy Edwards originally from Norwich, Norfolk. Nancy graduated from Goldsmiths with a first class BA honours degree in Textiles, and has lived and worked in London ever since with a small studio space in her home in Hackney. Nancy takes inspiration from her surroundings and her illustrations are often direct responses to her environment, the city being her main stimulus — its diversity, architecture and aesthetics. Nancy uses hand drawn techniques as well as digital processing to complete her often very detailed work which has been featured in the Guardian, Time Out….and now The Step!
