About

Cry Club – an alternative therapy workshop that allows you to reconnect with yourself in a shared, safe and therapeutic space. Cry Club is a collaborative design project by Goldsmiths Alumni and the mental health charity MIND.

Previous iterations have operated at Tate Britain (A Common Ground), Goldsmiths, University of London, and Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre.

Cry Club will be running an open workshop as a part of the events programme for ‘If Not a Wasteland’ – the participants will be encouraged to share and explore emotion in a controlled environment. Bring a feeling you want to share.

Violinist George Sullivan will compose an original score in response to T.S Elliot’s ‘The Wasteland’ and the contextualisation of the research lead by Ben Urban and Rachel Irons as part of the events programme.

George Sullivan plays base guitar in ‘Talk Show’ a South East London band represented by YALA records.

Please join us at 12noon for a weaving workshop lead by Rachel Irons, appropriate for all ages, numbers are limited.
