What are the roles of art and knowledge in a world awash with economic, political, environmental and cultural crises? Can we go beyond education and a mere production of artworks to affectively approach a common world? Can we direct our productive efforts towards a meaningful world changing and world making?

Mohammad Salemy, Berlin based Canadian artist, thinker and curator, and Václav Janoščík, pedagogue, philosopher and curator of the present exhibition Leinemann Kunstpreis - Negative Realism, will try not only to discuss the present situation but also to aim at finding positions, struggles and affections in a world we did not just inherit but that we must also change and re-create.
