About
'Ida Cubana' presents documentary photography about Cuban life and how communism is still alive here on the largest Caribbean island.Sasha Alexander through his graphic photography tells the story of local people he met during a recent research trip to the fascinating country that is Cuba. The main objective was to understand exactly how people can live on as little as £20 per month; to see and capture the communist propaganda, and to experience something that is very distant untouchable and unchangeable.
This is Sasha's journey through the nation of Cuba, which helped him appreciate the basic luxuries that we all take for granted in our lives, such as shelter and food, as well as a positive benefit of a capitalist economy ' that of freedom of speech.
