With a background in product design and applied art, Ian employs a mix of industrial design and craft skills to his work – producing installations, studio editions and developing shapes, materials and techniques for industry. Ian has collaborated with Another Country, Wrong for HAY, The London Design Festival, Officine Panerai and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
In 2010 he received an MA in Applied Art from the Royal College of Art, London. Alongside his practice, Ian has delivered lectures and teaching at Kingston University and the Royal College of Art. He is a founding member of Studio Manifold and is currently studying for a PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University.
