About
An introduction to Ian Fraser ARCA (1933-1986), fine artist and print maker. This solo show introduces you to a diverse range of work (from 1963-86) exploring colour, light, geometry, landscape and the human condition, all of which are available to purchase.
Ian studied at Leeds College of Art and the Royal College of Art, specialising in print making. He was a member of the Print Makers' Council and widely exhibited in the 60s and early 70s. He taught at various art schools, settling at Hornsey in the mid 1960s where he became Head of Print Making and then Head of Fine Art in the early 80s. Teaching allowed him to explore many different avenues without the necessity of being a commercial artist. His range is therefore broad but the high quality universal. This exhibition is the first commercial show in London since 1990.
