About

This new exhibition, selected exclusively for The Lowry, explores the work made in the north of England in the 1970s by Magnum international photojournalist Ian Berry. Berry was born in the North West but grew up abroad. On his return to the area, he captured a strangeness in the people and places which resonates with Lowrys approach to our region.
