A new i-cabin Year1 Programme exhibition:

About

i-cabin presents a new exhibition by the artist Barry Sykes developed especially for the gallery, based on discussions with the gallery director Sebastian Craig. The emphasis on 'Year1' projects is for an emerging artist to deal with the gallery's set of rules and methods to develop a unique work. For this exhibition Barry Sykes will be presenting a musical film predicting his own death and a number of discarded drawings from the famous Hanna-Barbera animation studio. Barry Sykes (born 1976, Essex) has recently exhibited at Platform Gallery, Finland and Itchy Park, London and also 2YK Galerie, Berlin; Chapter Arts, Cardiff and PS1, New York. Barry also recently published the book 'Hello Sebastian ... Did You Say A4?' with i-cabin texts. i-cabin, Clarendon Buildings, 11 Ronalds Road, London, N5 1XJ 07813 764 937 / www.i-cabin.co.uk
