I LOVE SHANTELLE MARCH PALMER is an exhibition presenting video, prints and sculpture by the artist Georgia Lucas Going, curated by Francisca Aires Mateus.
Georgia Lucas - Going (b.1988 Luton) Recently graduated from Slade School of Art with an MFA in Fine Art. She is currently an Artist in residence at the Alexander McQueen studios in London and Wysing Art centre, Cambridge with the collective ‘FORMERLY KNOWN’. She has also been recently selected for Deptford X 2018 programme.
Currently working on 'SELF TAUGHT SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES', the works presented at São Roque show her relationship with England & her heritage, the art of failure & the art of exploring all the things we tell ourselves not to do.
Throughout the month at São Roque, she will be doing performances and one on one audiences are encouraged. DM her @GEORGIAWEIRDO for your slot & make it personal. Times & dates will be posted via the space’s and the artist’s Instagrams.
