Corridor Exhibition vol.5
“I have no idea, how we grew up.”
North London Art& Design Hub presents Corridor Exhibition vol.5 - "I have no idea, how we grew up." – An immersive group exhibition reflecting on the process of growing up in this rapidly changing + fast-paced world, featuring the diverse works of 30+ mixed multi-media artists based in the North London district.
The premise for this multi-disciplinary show is simple and, as the title suggests, seeks to consider how we as an individual and collective, survive in this ever-changing world. Instead of giving a conclusion, the exhibition is willing to invite artists to discuss the possible solution through their experience.
The show acknowledges that meditations on the state of the past and envisioned future, whether painted in hope, logic or in foreboding, are of paramount importance.
At the Private view eventing, we also want to invite you to join our Discussion Panel:
The discussion panel is drawing motivation from the artwork, "Death + Rebirth” – A response to the Australian BushFires of 2019 by Tal Abilmona. The piece is designed to create an assimilation to “PLACE”, paying tribute + homage to lands devastated by the 2019 bushfires of Australia.
We'd like to invite you to participate in a conversation based around questions of how to make our lifestyle more sustainable for our planet and our life through our day to day life. The panel hosts a selection of individuals that practice in the fields of sustainability, environmental science, mental health + art; offering their understanding + viewpoints on possibilities + solutions to these questions.
During the Discussion Panel on the private view night, we will draw out people’s suggestions that we collect from Instagram to discuss the possibility about them.
#Ihaveideahowwegrewup and @NorthLondonArt to share with us of your idea/solution about Sustainable lifestyle.
